Vancouver Real Estate Photos Sell Property

Have you ever clicked on a listing, saw the photo, and moved on?

A study published last fall by Redfin, a Seattle-based brokerage firm, found that high quality photos shot with an SLR (single lens reflex camera) can increase the final price of a house between $934 and $116,076, compared to those shot with low-end cameras. But the company also found that only about 15 percent of real estate listings are using any higher end photography.

Online home-photo listings are usually the first thing buyers look at to break through the clutter when determining potential homes to visit. I know from experience if the photo doesn't catch my eye then chances are I'm not interested in viewing the property.

Once you have great photo's then they need to be displayed and distributed properly. Any agent listing a home who provides the standard MLS listing sheet to potential buyers is short changing the potential sale price. Unless they are working for free don't settle for the 'no name brand' marketing. Your agent should be a master salesperson who specializes in knowing the market and negotiating amazing deals. They are not graphic designers, home stagers, or photograpers.
