Vancouver Housing - A Green Option!
This aritcle in the Globe and Mail caught my eye today. Having renovated a few houses and re-used materials along the way, it's great to see this idea taken the the next level. I know it's easier when doing demolition the throw everything out - maybe cheaper and definitely faster but there is a great feeling to reusing materials.
I always thought it would be a great excercise to try to build a house in Vancouver using only reclaimed materials - maybe even free. How about we partner with the City to do a test project. 'Deconstruct' an old house then build a new one using only reclaimed materials. Anyone want to try?
